The Tec Block
Tip #1: Formalize things so that you cut down on your time.
So that digital platform side of things is quite overwhelming as well, these days. There's a lot out there. So and you'll probably get bombarded with it. What do I do? And where do I go to next? And, and how, what is this? Am I using the right platform? Is it working for me?
….. and am I spending too much time I'm just trying to sort out technology, really. So I think that if you are doing it, you might want to look at what you're doing. Technology is supposed to help you not help you in business & empower you through your business, not the opposite.
Tip #2: Look at whether CRMs will integrate.
That is a customer relationship management system. So basically like a database, but it can integrate with nearly everything else, like your accounting system like your websites and your sales system. It's all true, you get that sales funnel come through as well. You can do your newsletters through it, you can do social media through it. So I always look at a CRM and always recommend ones that work for you.
There are free CRMs out there. So you don't have to purchase a $200 a month CRM, you can start at the basics. Some of your websites will probably have a basic CRM like Wordpress. If you're doing e commerce sort of things. I mean, you will have small basic CRM in there as well. So and that can integrate with your other tools, and with your team or even with the customers, with the email with you use and your newsletter platforms.
Look at that I also look at your accounting system, because it seems to be the most important is the accounting system and getting the information to the customer.
And if there's a no collaboration tools that go on in between specifically for you then look at hiring an API engineer. There's a lot of customized platforms built for industries like construction, electricity, and all that sort of thing as well. So you can have these integrated into other systems as well.
Tip #3: Look at your, clientele and your niche.
It's your marketing that you need to set yourself up for success first, and then you point down into your tools. So your tools will support the marketing. Your website ties in with this. And if you do not have a website you should have that's definitely I mean, we're digital. We're online and that's your shop face. Basically, you know, even if you've got a one pager, you can point them to this, the shot face and go, this is where you should go.
Tip #4: Get social on social Media
People love social media, right. But remember, it's social. Yeah. So you, you chat. That's an important thing around that marketing side of things. And you telling your story of what you want to tell your customers so they can connect with you.
